Trimming, Beading, and Expansion – Spun Parts or Pipe Ends

It is not always possible to perform every forming operation on a spinning lathe, Ace Metal Spinning has a full line of trimming, beading, and expanding equipment for all post spinning operations. Our five trimming and beading units can trim spun parts up to 32“ in diameter. In house we have an extensive library with bead diameters ranging from 0.25” to 1”.

There a few different ways to make to smaller round parts, spinning a flat disc might be the best option for one part and expanded pipe might be the best path for another. Ace Metal Spinning has the right equipment for either method, our pipe expander / contractor can form up 6” OD pipe with a wide range of end shapes.
